Amanda Leatherman grabs Tony G. for a blog before he starts playing in the $5,000 Stud Hi-Lo event. Tony complains about the game and how silly the first few levels are. Amanda and Tony also ask each other random questions.
Scotty Nyugen is up and down in the $2,500 NLH 6-handed event. Scotty went from $200k down to $75k and back up to $360k just before the dinner break. He also had some problems with a dealer earlier in the tournament but keeps it classy and doesn’t let it bother him.
The 2004 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was held at Binion’s Horseshoe after Harrah’s Entertainment purchased the casino and the rights to the tournament in January. Harrah’s announced that future WSOP tournaments will be held in a moving circuit of member casinos.There were 2,576 entrants to the main event. Each paid $10,000 to enter what was the largest poker tournament ever played in a brick and mortar casino at the time. Many entrants, including the overall winner, won their seat in online poker tournaments.
Hevad Khan talks about being a chip leader in the $2,500 NLH six-handed event. Hevad is behaving himself this series and is maturing his attitude and poker game. Hevad had big finish in last year’s WSOP cashing sixth in the main event.
